It is with the greatest sadness that we inform you of the passing of Pastor Chris Arbeau. Pastor Chris was a dedicated worker and will be missed by all of us, so it is understandable that some of us may find this message difficult to comprehend.
Pastor Chris passed away on May 11, 2022, at 1:50 pm CDT in Portage la Prairie, MB from heart and kidney failure. He has been an important member of our team since 2012 and will be dearly missed.
Ministry was an incredibly significant part of Pastor Chris’ life. He taught English in Thailand and South Korea before feeling the call to pastoral ministry. He graduated from Canadian University College (now Burman University) and started working for the Man-Sask Conference in August 2012.
In 2016, he was ordained in recognition of his call to pastoral ministry. He was devoted to his work even with his health failing in recent years.
During this difficult time, we ask that you keep his wife, Anabelle, in your thoughts and prayers.
MEMORIAL SERVICE:
Pastor Chris' funeral will take place on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 1 pm CDT. It will be located at 92 Prospect Park Rd, Portage la Prairie, MB. There will be a potluck lunch. Please consider bringing lawn chairs as seating is limited.
