Biggar SDA Company

On December 10, 2022, the Manitoba-Saskatchewan Conference officially granted Biggar Seventh-day Adventist Group a new status as a company. This important event is the start of an exciting journey for the faith community in the area.
 
Fran Gorbenko, a charter church leader for the new company, expressed her gratitude for the Executive Committee's decision. "We are so thankful for the executive committee's decision to grant us this new status. We plan to establish a vibrant and welcoming community of faith that will serve our neighbourhood for many years to come."
 
Pastor David Baker, the district pastor of Biggar, is also looking forward to helping the Biggar SDA Company fulfill its mission. "I am looking forward to supporting Biggar SDA Company in building a culture of making disciples," said Pastor David.
 
The President of the Manitoba-Saskatchewan Conference, Pastor Charles Ed II Aguilar, also shared his enthusiasm for this new company. Sharing this challenge with the members during the Litany of Commitment: "I challenge you to be faithful, dedicated, sympathetic, and persevering—always keeping in mind that the great goal of the church is not merely the imparting of truth and good news but the awakening to transform hearts and be a blessing to all people here in Biggar!"
